A Reminder of the True Meaning of "Christ"mas

Last night, Mike and I had the opportunity to attend the annual First Presidency's Christmas Devotional. This devotional is something that I look forward to as a great way to start the Christmas season with the right spirit. The Conference Center is always decorated so beautifully, the music is amazing, and the talks are great. Each member of the First Presidency offered council on remembering why we celebrate Christmas and how we can incorporate that spirit into our lives. President Uchtdorf even commented on how the current economic crisis may be viewed as a blessing in disguise because it helps us cut back on commercialism and remember the reason for the season. This experience really allowed me to feel the true spirit of Christmas, why we celebrate, and how I can share that spirit with others.
