My dad had the opportunity to participate in the Huntsman World Senior Games this past week. This is an international competition for adults age 50 and older to compete in a variety of sports. My dad competed in the 800 meter run. He finished in eighth place with a time of 2:40. The gold medal winner is from Barbados and finished in 2:13. The world record for the men's 800 meter is 1:41.11
